Safety First

Focusing on the Workplace Hazard Analysis (WHA), LGC helps to identify workplace related hazards, potential dangers, and can reduce the risk of workplace accidents. Why is a WHA important? Once you’ve identified the hazards, you can protect against or eliminate them before an injury occurs.

LGC Safety Analysis audits are an economical alternative to receiving an OSHA citation or penalty. Auditing your workplace insures your most important assets are protected — your employees.

LGC focuses on current OSHA, DOT, EPA and FDA requirements, standards and mandates. Our safety assessments are based on the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), insuring your team’s safety as well as your company’s compliance with OSHA Directives.

The General Industry section of the OSHA regulation states, in part:

• The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• The employer shall verify that the required workplace hazard assessment has been performed through a written certification that identifies the workplace evaluated; the person certifying that the evaluation has been performed; the date(s) of the hazard assessment; and which identifies the document as a certification of hazard assessment.

Our team has over fifty years of combined experience auditing Best Practices. We have conducted over 1000 OSHA related safety audits for major Fortune 500 companies throughout North America. Our team members are Certified Safety Auditors with The National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) and also by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) in warehouse sanitation.
